WELL BEING Journal – Author Guidelines

WELL BEING Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific publication by STIKes Bahrul Ulum, dedicated to disseminating empirical research and conceptual studies in the field of health sciences. The editorial board accepts only original manuscripts that have never been published elsewhere, written in a clear, concise, and academically rigorous style.

Manuscript Structure

1. Title

  • Maximum 15 words.

  • Written in Indonesian or English, depending on the language of the full text.

  • If written in Indonesian, an English translation of the title must also be provided.

2. Author(s) Name and Affiliation

  • Author names are written without academic degrees or titles.

  • The author’s institutional affiliation is listed below the name.

3. Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English.

  • Maximum 200 words, single-spaced.

  • Abstract should summarize: Background, Problem, Objective, Method, Results & Statistical Findings, and Conclusion.

  • Include 3–5 keywords that reflect the main topics.

4. Article Types

  • Research Articles should include:

    • Title

    • Author name and affiliation

    • Abstract (Indonesian & English)

    • Introduction

    • Materials

    • Research Method

    • Research Results

    • Discussion

    • Conclusion

    • References

  • Conceptual Articles should include:

    • Title

    • Author name and affiliation

    • Abstract (Indonesian & English)

    • Introduction

    • Analysis (peer review, assumptions, comparisons)

    • Conclusion

    • References

5. Tables & Figures

  • Number tables and figures sequentially according to their appearance in the text.

  • Each table/figure must have a brief descriptive caption.

  • Photographs (if any) must be in high resolution and accompanied by explanations.

6. Discussion

  • Present a detailed interpretation of research results.

  • Explain how findings solve the stated problem.

  • Discuss influencing factors and support with relevant literature.

7. References

  • References are arranged alphabetically.

  • Books: Author(s). (Year). Book Title. City: Publisher. Volume, edition, pages.

  • Journals: Author(s). (Year). Article title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages.

  • Web Sources: Author(s). (Year). Title. URL (Access date).

Examples:

  • Giriwijoyo, S. & Sidik, Z. (2023). Sports Health Science. Bandung: Rosda.

  • Yassin, S. (2022). Herbal Remedy Used By Rural Adolescent Girls With Menstrual Disorders. Journal of American Science, 10, 467–474.

Formatting Requirements

  • Typed in MS Word, font Times New Roman size 12 pt.

  • Line spacing: 1.15.

  • Paper size: A4 with margins — Left: 3 cm, Right: 2.5 cm, Top: 3 cm, Bottom: 2.5 cm.

  • Maximum 12 pages including references, tables, and figures.


Editorial Policy

  • The editorial board reserves the right to make adjustments to the manuscript without altering its content.

  • All data, opinions, and statements in the manuscript are the responsibility of the author(s).

  • Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned for revision.
